The EQUALITY consortium got together on 3-4 September in Hamburg, Germany, to discuss the accomplishments in its third year and the plans towards the conclusion of the project. It was a great pleasure meeting all the partners! Specials thanks to the team at Capgemini for organising this great meeting!
EQUALITY brings together scientists, innovators, and prominent industrial players to develop cutting-edge quantum computer algorithms to solve strategic industrial problems related to energy storage materials and systems, aerodynamics, and space mission optimisation and data analysis.
These problems are computationally complex and are faced routinely by the industrial partners in the project. Hence, the opportunity provided by quantum computers to tackle such questions computationally would give a competitive edge to the European industry, unlocking billions of euros for end-users and technology providers over the coming decades.
